Watched "The Matrix" just now. Not "Reloaded"... The original one on TV. Yeah.
Some lady from my old secondary school told me I'm a nice guy. I appreciate that, but I'm sure there are more nicer guys out there, in both looks and attitude.
I never really had the looks. Believe me, before I started using contacts, I was being called names. A lot of names. Geek. Nerd. Weirdo. I've heard it all. But I never really took it that hard. I mean, I always take them as jokes. Hopefully, they never really mean it.
As I look back, I realized that people do change, and some don't. Me? I changed too. From a very quiet boy in primary school, to a scapegoat in early secondary school. During the last year of my secondary school did I grab hold of what I really want to do. To gain people's trust. To show them that, hey, I am sociable. And that's what I did in late secondary school, and my poly life.
I dare say that my life has never been better since joining polytechnic. I respect, and be respected. That's life. I love that life. Too bad it isn't so true outside polytechnic. Life is unpredictable in the world. Maybe even cruel sometimes. But we just have to accept it. Live life as it comes.
Man, what am I doing, trying to be philosophic?
