Wow, another 4 months since I last blogged. I don't really have much discipline when it comes to blogging. No wait, I mean I don't really have much TIME when it comes to blogging. I've been such a busy guy, people actually see me ard the sch several times a day, at different departments. But hey, I'm not complaining. I'm always into that kind of life. Fast-paced, thrilling, always on the move.
Currently I'm juggling 4 project deadlines due in early April, while administrating 2 club events. I'd say that's a handful, but I'm handling it pretty well. I just need someone to kick me to get me perk up to start programming again. Yeah, I know what most poeple are thinking when I say that. Nurazhar, the computer geek, actually NEEDS someone to make him do programming? I mean, it's just one of those periods when I'm left wandering in slumberland for a few weeks.
Let's see now, I've yet to start on my Multi-Tier Distributed Applications, which involves creating a web service. Still halfway in building up the website for my Web Applications. Oh, and there's this Perl program I have yet to finish for my Biological Information Retrieval module. The lecturer wants the program to be able to extract DNA sequences from a large database and also provide a search logic for a specific sequence. And not to mention Knowledge Management. Dang, I just hate the module. It's nothing but pure theory, and when it comes to practicals, I'm just stumped. Data-mining, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, market basket analysis, yeah, I know some of you are already sleeping. I just can't wait to get over with this module.
I'd say, look at the time. Better start on my WEBA if I am to finish on time. My friend's been bugging me for it, not that it's his fault. I didn't really pick up from where I left off. He's a darn good programmer, and I'll be lucky if I've acquired 3/4 of his programming prowlness. Competition is hot and rising in my BioInformatics class. But the line between GOOD programmers and GREAT programmers is clearly drawn.
And I'm aiming to be one of the GREAT.
