[Mood: Great] [Mentally: Shaken] [Physically: Okay] [State of Mind: Relieved]
It started off as a boring Saturday. Not much happening in the morning, not to mention afternoon. So I took some time off to give my computer a rest, removed the Internet cable (felt like pulling my heart) and started to clean up my desktop (computer desktop, that is).
Removed a few icons here and there, and copied files cluttered on my desktop into proper folders. After it looks spick and span, I did a full defragmentation. Took me 3 hours for that. While waiting, I had my lunch and watched TV. Also studied my script.
Script? you may ask. Yeah, later tonight, I will be the emcee for an Israk Mikraj Syarahan in my area. So I'm trying to read properly from a script which is all Malay. Received an SMS from my friend wishing me good luck. Yeah, I need it.
After the defragmentation, I set it on for a full virus scan. Took an hour for that, and spent that time reading through my script again. After the virus scan, my computer seems to run much faster, and it looked more sleek. Cool...Anyway, I got ready for the event. It looked as if I'm going for Hari Raya, way before the Fasting month has even begin.
Before the event, I was getting myself to relax. And before I knew it, I was up on stage talking. Did quite okay for the first part, and a few hiccups in the later parts. But all was fine. The guest pensyarah was Ustaz Dato' Nooh Gadut, Mufti, Johor Islamic Council. His syarahan was very captivating, and humorous. At some point, even saddening. More of a reminder. After the event, I got to hugged him. It was very nice.
During the clean up, I was invited to eat at one of the pakcik's house which was housing the Ustaz. So I went up, and ate with them. Mots of the high authorities people were there eating too, Chairman of Qaryah Centre, An-nur Mosque, Haji Muhd Rashid, the Chairman of the Qaryah, Cikgu Adam, and of course, the Ustaz. While eating, the Ustaz commented on my emcee-ing. He praised my "Bahasa Baku"! Well, it was my first time as an emcee. So I guess I did pretty well. I took my leave early as my parents were already wondering where I went to. Helped to finish up the cleaning downstairs, then went home.
I'm already trying to plan out what I have to do tomorrow. Let's see, cookies in the morning... And later in the afternoon, my friend and her mum picking me up to get me to fix the PC again. First things first, I need to get in the right mood to do cookies. I remembered the Master writing in one of her blogs, to make nice cookies, you need to be in the right mood, or it wouldn't turn out right. So maybe before I start tomorrow, I'll think of something to make my mood go up.
I don't think it'll be too difficult.
Lolz.
