[Mood: Fine] [Mentally: Strained] [Physically: Sore All Over] [State of Mind: Tight]
Ramadhan check: 4 more days! To tell you the truth, I can't wait for it. It is so cool to fast, and then break fast with family members and friends. Especially nowadays when you are so busy most of the time, and coming back from school late, just to end up eating dinner alone. I see Ramadhan as a great time to strengthen the family bond more.
Went to school at 8AM this morning. My friend had class at 9AM, but she came in at 9:15AM. Suspect she's a "Star Karat". =x Erm... I meant that in a good way! =) After that, left my boots at MLS before going to ICT for FYP. Was quite surprised to see the lab empty. When my Com Tech came in, he explained that he had put a script on all compuetrs which will kick out all students except those in BioInformatics or Mobile Applications Year 3. Sounds very interesting. From then on, whenever we see anyone entering the lab to log in, I will shout to my group mate how long it will take for the person before he or she gives up after being logged off. Lolz...
My friend is meeting her friend at Jurong Point for lunch, so I had lunch with my group mates at FC6. We managed to finish most of our project, leaving only integration for the evening. But I had a soccer match in the evening, so I left that to one of my group members. Met up with my friend at Plaza (She had some... Problems. Lolz.), and we went to study at Cliff. ell, only hr. I wasn't in the mood. We wne tup to MLS soon after, and the guys were already preparing for the match. I was on the phone for a long time, and went down late, so I had no time to warm up. Swell.
The match started quite okay, until they increased their attack. We had no real posession of the ball, and were played around. I did an awkward save which put my buttocks on "CRAMPED MODE", and it wasn't pleasant at all. Their first goal came via midfield when one of them shot from long range. My defender wasn't covering his angle, and I dived to no avail. The second one came from a cross, which was headed in. This goal, I think it was dued to my poor positioning. So it was 2-0 by half-time.
During the break, Yat helped me with my handling of the ball. It looks like I have improved. Maybe it's beacause of the new gloves. The new on I'm wearing is of size 7, the previous was at size 9 1/2. So you see, it was quite difficult for me to hold the ball properly. Second half started, and Samir provided more width on the left flank. Unfortunately, he was not fed the ball. Yat cleared a ball, which went past a defender, and Ali was on spot with his shot (or just a tap-in). 2-1. Suspect the opposition goalkeeper was amazed at the AOB. =x
They kept attacking, and I managed a couple of saves. But the rest of the 2 goals I conceded were due to my defenders playing as striker (YAT!) or my defenders playing as striker, on the wrong end of the pitch (YAT!). Or maybe I could and should have done better. At 4-1, I decided to play as an outfield player. Passed my gloves to Yat, and even though I was very tired, I managed a couple of good runs with Samir supporting. Yat made a couple of good saves, but conceded a late one. The match finished 5-1 to the opposition, but I think we put on a good performance. I was later informed that this is the first time the line-up of Yat, Farhan and Rashid as defenders was tried, so I think we did well. Maybe we can improve over a couple of games.
My friend was waiting at MLS room, and after I had done Maghrib, we went to Lot 1. On the way, she told me that the ladies in MLS were having a very good discussion while we guys were playing soccer. I'd prefer to call it as gossip? Lolz. At Lot 1, we paied our Library fines, and didn't do much rounding as she wasn't feeling well. So we went home after that.
Got an e-mail calling me for interview on Keio University on 22nd October. Better prepare myself to be presentable on that day. Or maybe just show up wearing like what I always wear. We'll see about that. For now, I'm better off having an early rest.
Tomorrow's starting at 8AM. =x
