[Mood: Fine] [Mentally: Well] [Physically: Still Sore] [State of Mind: Worrying]
Not really having a good day today, in terms of physical. Woke up to sores and cramps all over, the aftermath of a soccer match without proper warm-ups. And maybe the lack of exercising contributing to that. Maybe should start my morning joggings again... After Hari Raya...
Went to school with my friend at 8:30AM. She had to quickly book a computer at W11 for a project. I went to ICT to do the final touch ups to my FYP before the demo later at 1:30PM. There was Genomics & Proteomics at 10AM, but the lecturer was understanding enough to mark our attendance the moment he saw our faces, and let us continued with our FYP. Integration was a breakthrough today, a sheer combination of the YA brothers (Yaomin & Azhar). Mainly him though. The two programming fanatics have pulled it of again, and in usual style, last minute. We tend to work well at the last minute. Lolz...
1:30PM came, and no sign of my supervisor. My group leader tried to call him a couple of times, but no answer. At 2:40PM, he finally came. I almost left the lab at that time. We showed him the functionalities and design of our project, and I thought we did quite well. Hopefully well enough to secure a place to Keio to continue the project. It took only 10 minutes, and I was off to the library to meet my friend.
She didn't seemed too happy... Told her I'd finish the project by 1:45PM. Well, sometimes you gotta live with that. I am a busy man after all... *cough* =) We went for lunch at FC3, and went up to MLS. Met Ali and Kasma there, and Ali updated me on what happened at noon. A senior came by, and said sorry for the things he did during our FO Camp. No hard feelings though. We had a couple of good laughs before they went off to Northpoint. My friend and I left soon after, but she didn't follow me to Northpoint. I mean, she has nothing to do with what we're going to be discussing about anyway. So it's better for her to go home first.
I reached Northpoint, and went to Sakura. Met Ali, Kasma, Ali's auntie, and the caterer. He's a very friendly guy. He told me to order anthing on the menu, it's on him. Ha ha... A VERY good first impression if you ask me. I didn't order anything until Azfar and Linda arrived. After eating, we started talking about business.
The meeting went quite well, and I think the PHR is in very good hands. Azfar seemed confident of what he is doing, so I presumed I can leave everything to him. Although I will have my Top 3 to stand by in case of emergencies. ONLY emergencies.
I practically had to drag myself home. Been slightly limping the whole day. This is very bad. Better start working myself back to fitness. Otherwise, I might just fail my NS Check-Up. And I definitely don't want that to happen.
Tomorrow will be some-what of a nervous day for me. It can make or break what I have. But I guess sometimes, you just have got to face it. Although I am more or less a bit pessimistic about the outcome, I am prepared to live with it.
Big time.
