[Mood: Great] [Mentally: Strained] [Physically: Okay] [State of Mind: Tired]
Here I am in my living room, the place where I have been sleeping in since 4 months ago. No, I wasn't chased out of my room. My brother's here, sleeping beside me. You see, last 4 months, my dad wanted to change the wall fan in my room. Turned out he took it down, and didn't install a new one until a month later. Since it was hot in the room, my brother and I slept outside. And even with the new wall fan installed, it's been a habit sleeping in the living room.
I realized there's this one small part of the house which is not covered by my wireless network. Unfortunate, this is a very good part where I can leave my laptop and also be in a good position to sleep. Never mind, here I am, sitting upright, wirelessly blogging.
I didn't update my blog yesterday. Partly because I forgot, but also partly because I was sooo busy doing my GP report, I almost fell asleep at my desk. I finished it though, this morning at 10AM, and handed it up before meeting up with my friend briefly at the library, and then going to MLS to discuss some stuffs with Ali. After that, we went for Friday prayers.
Maybe it was a good thing that it rained very heavily when prayers ended. I don't know about you people, but sometimes I see rain as a good thing. Except that this time, I was in formal wear. Had my maroon shirt on. Lolz. So in the end, Azfar, Yat, Zaki, Ali and me sat in a circle and we talked until the rain slowed down to a drizzle. As a matter of fact, almost everyone seemed to be doing that. And I suspect for the first time in a long time, the mosque was still very packed, even when the prayers ended like 15 minutes ago. Ha ha...
Went to the library to meet up with my friend, and I took the opportunity to take a long nap. I would be having my interview later at 5:50PM, and I don't want to look tired for that. When we reached ICT on time, I got word that it was only the second student being interviewed. And I was the last among 6 students. Swell. Decided with Yaomin to wear our ties, and I'm not really proficient at wearing a tie, so I got my friend to do that (or at least she tried to =)). Yaomin had to helped me with it in the end. He said it's not nice wearing a maroon shirt with a red tiem but I think it looked nice. Especially since the tie has a metallic look.
The interview went well, and Yaomin and I were called upon by our lecturer to discuss on something very important. It stretched until Maghrib, and I felt kinda bad having my friend to wait for me. Ishk. But we had a drink, then did our Maghrib. Then it was dinner outside.
My load's lighter a bit, after the submission of my project proposal. Only left with one exam paper. But even that, I have a busy week ahead. Berita Harian coming during my exam paper (27/10) to see how Muslim students break fast during an exam. Friday (29/10) was proposed to be an Exco break fast, though I have yet to receive any confirmation on this. Then on Saturday (30/10), I have to attend some feedback session organized by Mendaki. From Monday (1/11) onwards, my group will have to continue with our FYP to prepare for a BioInformatics conference which will be held on 15/12 in Japan. And Republic Polytechnic invited us to their Iftar on the following Monday (8/11).
A busy month ahead, but I'm looking forward to it. Anything, BUT studying. But I have to be contented with that for the time being.
Haizz.
