[Mood: Fine] [Mentally: Blank] [Physically: Okay] [State of Mind: Static]
First day of serving ITP in school, and it was SO boring. 8.30AM -6PM, free labour, but no work. The moment I arrived in school, the three of us went to see Dr Ng, who is in charge of our air tickets. He explained to us a bit, then we were to meet up again at STA Travel at FC5 to reserver our tickets at 1.05PM. So we asked him what we have to do in the meantime. He said ask Ronnie Peh.
Ronnie Peh is our Liaison Officer for our ITP. He was also not sure of what we have to do, so he told us to contact Gabor, who is our supervisor in Japan, and see what he has for us. Unfortunately, he could not be found, so we ended up slacking for 10 hours in school. We plan to start learning Japanese from tomorrow. Lolz.
From the info I got from my lecturer, he allowed us to stay in Japan for 2 more days after our attachment for sightseeing. But we have to find our own hotel, and pay for it. We did a search, and we'll be shortlisting some of them tomorrow. We have also plan where to go. Dr Ng suggested Tokyo Disneyland, but the admission fee is 84 SGD. My cousin suggested Odaiba, which was built on reclaimed lan, and one of the highest standard of attraction in terms of technology. I was also looking at Mt Fuji. Maybe we'll take a look at these over the week.
Juz got myself a Kodak CX7330 over the weekend. Used my own money, as usual. Lolz. Costs me $299. I guess it's worth it. One of the things I have to invest in before going to Japan will be a digital camera. My old one, I gave it to my younger brother. Also got a new webcam and a rechargeable battery set to bring over.
Only 27 more days before I leave for Japan on 10th January 2005 at 2355 hours. I'm really going to miss my family and some people. I guess 3 months is a long time, but hey, we'll see what happens.
And I hope I don't return with my jeans folded up halfway, wearing long socks till the knee, with sandals.
*gasp*
