[Mood: Okay] [Mentally: A Bit Weird] [Physically: Fine] [State of Mind: Worried]
The last week of 2004. Had an Exco meeting on Monday, and some things were settled. Mainly on who will be taking over me when I'm off to Japan. And not to mention the FOC 2005 committee. And maybe I accidentally did something I shouldn't have. Unfortunate on how I screwed that up. Haizz.
We had a Parents-Meet-Director session for us going to Japan. Our parents came down, and cleared up any questions they had about the trip. It was this time my Director said we needed to get suits. Suits! Sheesh. That night, Yaomin immediately got one. Lolz...
On Wednesday, after my ITP, I went to Giant IMM to have a look at the suits. Can't really imagine me wearing them. Ha ha. But hey, at $90, it's a huge bargain. So I told my dad that I needed one.
Just now, Yaomin and I dropped by Giant IMM, and we got my suit. I think I have a black tie to go with it. Then we went around for winter wear. Mainly it was his shopping, as I already have winter stuffs from my dad who goes overseas once in a while.
When I come back on the 9th April, he will be leaving for China on the 10th April. It's pretty sad, come to think of it. In 5 months, my dad and I will only see each other for 11 days. haizz.
The tsunami which happened on 26th December had a major effect on South East Asia. Death toll still rising, and first aid are flown in from all over the world. I guess only a disaster can bring the whole world together, huh? Whenever I read the newspaper or online news about this situation, I'll be very saddened. Who wouldn't be? Now I'm just worried on what will happen when I go to Japan. Japan is known to have earthquakes, but Yaomin said it's rare it'll happen at where we are staying. Although I'm not really taking his word for it. Lolz.
2005 will be here in 2 days time. Looking back, 2004 has been quite a wonderful year for me. I still remember my resolution for 2004, the one I made to myself. I wanted to reduce the number of times I say the words F***, C****, KN* and any other vulgar words you can think of. To date, I have only said them less than 30 times throughout the whole year! The word rush though, came during a period in River Raft when I was a bit fed up. 11 words in a sentence! I'll never ever do such a thing again.
I need a new resolution for 2005. Let's see now... Maybe a planner for the year? Yeah, sounds good. Gonna get a planner tomorrow then. This will hopefully help counter my forgetfulness.
I've already started packing my bag for the trip, and it looks pretty heavy. Maybe I'll have to cut down on some things. I'll do it over the weekend.
I need some sleep.
