[Mood: Fine] [Mentally: Sound] [Physically: Fine] [State of Mind: Okay]
Work has been given, and I'm in charge of databases. Cool. I managed to get something today, and I think Gabor was quite fine with it.
No more table tennis for now. Ha ha. I'm so busy with work, and add that to the grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning of the place, laundry... My day's practically filled from the time I start it. I still remember what Mr Song (ICT Director) said: If you have work to do, you will not be homesick or lovesick. I don't know about that. It's not working for me.
I missed my video conference with my parents last night, so I was really trying to make up for it tonight. Luckily I managed to get back by 9PM (Japan time). Last night was a bummer. Chin Ho installed E-Cell3 (the project we were working on) in his work computer at 11:30PM! And the thing is, he knew it will take 2 hours just to complete the installation! While waiting for him, I did some work. You can say we worked overtime until 12:30AM. Yaomin was already back home at 11PM. I should be seeing myself going back home at 12AM soon, not because I have a lot of work, but because the place I'm staying is so near, it'll be a waste of time to travel back early.
Had a count on my funds, and I've already spent 5000 yen during the first 4 days. That's like S$80! Too much, I think. Looks like we will start to scrap a bit until we get our pay.
I keep telling myself 3 months is not long. Maybe I was wrong. I'm already feeling the fatigue of each day being so short, and the night being so long. Not to mention thinking about some people back in Singapore. At this moment, my webcam and laptop will be the most important tool to me to communicate with those back at home.
*Looks at the dirty dishes in the sink*
Dang, I'll leave 'em for tomorrow.
