[Mood: Great] [Mentally: Frozen] [Physically: Shivering] [State of Mind: Thawing]

I have finally set foot in Japan. After a 6 hours journey on the plane, we reached Narita Airport in Tokyo, before transitting to Haneda Airport via bus. There, we took a domestic flight to Shonai, where Akiko-san, one of the high-level people in the campus, brought us to the Institute of Advanced Biosciences.

We met Gabor there, and he brought us around the campus and Tsuruoka. More details on our Tsuruoka blog.

I just finished having a video conference with my family. I guess with advances in technology nowadays, anything is possible. Can't wait to start work tomorrow at 10AM.
