[Mood: Fine] [Mentally: Okay] [Physically: Fine] [State of Mind: Blocked]
Quite a number of things happened during the past week. Sorry I could not update as much as I would have liked. Too busy doing work, or going out buying groceries.
Last Friday night, we didn't go out for dinner like previous Friday nights. So to compensate for that, we went on Saturday night. Unfortunately, 5 people wanted to cycle there (Gabor, Li Kai, Yaomin, Chin Ho and me), but only 4 bikes were available. I decided not to cycle because it was at night (my night vision not that good), the weather was bad (real bad, the snow didn't stop for a few days) and it was peak hour traffic. So I followed Shafi-san and Satya in Shafi-san's sports car. A bit cramped, but I guess thats how all sports car are. The acceleration of the car is superb, you can feel the inertia real good. After dinner, we left early because Shafi-san and Satya had to complete a paper to be submitted soon. The rest of them later returned with new DVDs, The Ghost Ship, and Coronado. Again, we watched until 4AM.
On Sunday, we practically spent the whole day in our hostel, lazy to go out. Heavy snow makes you wanna stay in bed. Lolz... But we borrowed out more DVDs! Kill Bill 2 and Love Actually. Kill Bill 2 is, as usual, bloog and gore. Love Actually is a nice story. The director managed to put 10 intertwining love stories into one movie. There was this part Hugh Grant was dancing to a song, and I am hooked to the song. Pointer Sisters - Jump. If you want the song, MSN me. The DVD of Love Actually has a very nice picture on it. Check it out below.
On Monday, the 3rd level of the building (where our office is) was empty except for the 3 of us. The rest of the seniors went to Tokyo for a presentation. We took the opportunity to play our music aloud, and take as many breaks humanely possible to play Ping-Pong. We don't get to do this always.
On Tuesday night when they returned, they brought us along to a party. I don;t know about the rest, but I think the Japanese definition of a party is more than 3 people, some food, and beer. Yes, beer. Gabor got himself drunk. My friend almost got himself drunk. And the person who drove us to the party, was drunk too. Swell.

On the way back, I took a photo of a vending machine in the middle of a road junction. There are a lot of such around here. Very rare to see one in the middle of a junction in Singapore.
Today, or should I say Wednesday (which was a few hours ago), I went back to hostel early. Got a notice that there was a soccer match on. Japan VS North Korea. It was like watching a Winning Eleven (Playstation soccer game) match. And the commentator, very emotional. When Japan scored in the 4th minute, you can practically hear him cry for joy. North Korea gave them quite a hard time, getting the equaliser in the 2nd half, but Japan just scraped the winning goal in the 90th minute.
I had a look through my pictures collection over the past 3 years. From the first time I had my digicam, I took numerous pics. And each of them tells a story. When I looked through my family photos, I realised that as irritated as my younger brother is, I missed his laughter. My mum's cooking. My dad's lame jokes. My sister's shouting. It is a different feeling living alone. One way, you are enjoying the new experience, another way, you are missing what you used to experience.
58 more days. And I'll be back.
