Right, where was I? Oh, not yet started. Goody.
Not much happenings these 2 days, because well, it's work. How complicated can it get? With the exception of our stupid office neighbour taking so damn long to pass us the work, we can't practically make it for today's deadline. So it was pushed to Tuesday. And so far, we have yet to reached half of the quota.
4 of us are working on the project. Yaomin, Ling Ling (an NTU lady), a Malay lady (talked to before, but didn't know her name), and me. I'm really getting used to this work. Although I can't imagine me doing it permanently, but yes, for the next few months until NS, I hope I can stay with this.
"Hey--" he said, but he was talking to her back. He raised his voice and shouted, "I'd like to get to know you. But I'm not getting engaged in a parking lot, not even if you're the Queen of Sheba."
When she was fifty feet away, she turned to face him. "I wasn't asking you to get engaged," she shouted back.
"Oh yes you were! Crotchless panties, shaved pussies, what the hell is wrong with you?"
She was walking away again. Toad turned back toward base ops. Ten feet away a lieutenant commander stood looking at him, shaking his head.
"You know, Lieutenant, when I discuss intimate apparel or personal hygiene with a lady friend, I usually try to find a slightly more private place."
Toad turned beet red. "Yessir," he mumbled through clenched teeth and stalked by with his head down.
Just a short passage from the book "The Minotaur" by Stephen Coonts. An excellent book. A friend lent it to me, and I read it while travelling to and from work. Already finished it, and I am looking to continue the Tom Clancy's Op-Centre series. Already read Book 1 - Op-Centre and Book 2 - Mirror Image, which I borrowed from the library. Time for Book 3 and 4.
Played Yahoo! pool with one of my poly classmates. I won 8 games and lost 3. Unfortunately, 2 of the games I lost was due to me putting in the black ball first. So theoretically, it was a one-sided game.
Still gotta work tomorrow, although I am not quite sure how much work there will be. Will be aiming to finish before 3, because there will be a BBQ at Pasir Ris Park at 5PM. Post activity for Kem Panglima.
