[Mood: Great] [Mentally: Excellent] [Physically: Stale] [State of Mind: Weee!]
Lolz... What a week... Being as low-profile as I am, I don't think many people know it's my birthday this week. I didn't get that many wishes. Either people don't remember, or they don't care. Honestly, I prefer the latter. But thanks for the wishes to my secondary school friends, Hafizah, Suhaimi and Azhar... And not forgetting the freshies and guys I met in school on Wednesday. And of course, Masno, my in-law-wannabe. =P
Monday and Tuesday was hectic for me in terms of workload. One of the projects was rushed, and I had to stay until 9PM+ on both days. I don't mind staying back, because I took the whole day of my birthday off. So that I could spend the day for myself. And yeah, it mroe or less worked out. Watched 'Stealth', which was surprisingly a great movie, considering how all the critics were saying it sucks. Then after that, went for G-Max (reverse-bungee) with Timothy. Only $18 with the NDP coupon. (I still have one more, by the way. Who wants it?) A dramatic way to bungee into my 20th year. I have pictures of it in my Visuals. The video will be up soon.
Yesterday went back to as hectic as Monday and Tuesday. But today, it wasn;t quite so, as there were 7 part-timers working at the same time! Suddenly everyone came down, but there was enough work to be distributed. I decided to take the opportunity to leave earlier, because I cannot stand going back from work very late for a week.
It seems to me that instead of being helpful at work, I was being more of a burden. Seriously, I feel like quitting early. One of the factors was me teaching 2 new part-timers on how to enter the data, and after entering and checking, they had the most error rate. Almost an error in every entry. I feel like shit. My supervisor talked to me while I was working late last Friday about the situation, and I felt I was responsible for it. Maybe the lack of proper teaching? I dunno. On the bright side, since today was the start of my supervisor's one week leave, some of the other full-times are calling me "Boss". Don't ask me why, but I think it was because of last night when I stayed late, and I had to do sorting on a project. It wasn't much, and I wasn't having any trouble. Until my supervisor brought in 2 boxes full of papers! After 5 minutes, I stopped and announced, "I'm not gonna continue with this." My supervisor and her colleague looked at me and asked why. "The papers are so damn thick, and I'm not in the mood..." They laughed their ass out. Then a very interesting conversation followed it, but I don't think I'd want to reveal it... Lolz... And that was how she called me "Boss" today. Yaomin got in the act too, but I already told him if he call me "Boss", I'll whack his ass upside-down.
A brand new look on my blog for a brand new living year. I did it from scratch, and it took me only 2 hours. Lolz. Looks like my web designing skills have not gone down the drain just yet. Thanks to Liyana Ramli for complementing it. Improvements will be made over the next few weeks, of course.
I'm gonna add in a new section soon, called the Vlog. As some of you have read in the Digital News, Vlog (aka Video Blogger) is starting up. Video says it all. I won't be updating this section daily though, it'll be tedious. Maybe once every 2 weeks or so. We'll see about it.
I had a wonderful surprise today with tickets for tomorrow's 'Wedding Crashers'. Shocked to the max. Lolz. I love my life. =)
I think it's worth the mention that 4th August was my parents' 21st anniversary. Incredible. It's definitely gonna be even longer, Insya-allah.
