[Mood: Fine] [Mentally: Okay] [Physically: Not Good] [State of Mind: Normal]
Okay, so I have not been updating very often nowadays. Been very busy with NDP. My company is involved in setting up the fireworks, so we've been pretty busy every week from Wednesday to Saturday. I won't go into detail about it, but I have pictures and videos of the NDP 2006 preview which was held yesterday. Unfortunately, we were told to wait outside, but there are some very good videos of fireworks. Actually I was given 2 tickets for both the preview and the actual show, but because I only had one of each, it wasn't really useful to me, so I gave them away. Ha ha. Maybe I should have kept the actual ticket and laminated it, as suggested by my dearest.
Endurance run trainings are also a norm for our company. Gradually from 10km, we have since ran 12km and 14km. I think I clocked some pretty good personal timings for both. 58mins 34secs for 12km and 69mins 13secs for 14km. I won't be going for the 16km training though, so my next endurance run will most likely be the New Balance RealRun 10km at Sentosa on the 20th August (yeah, I actually joined a public endurance running event), and the Army Half-Marathon 21km from Esplanade to Kallang and back on the 27th August.
Platoon Sergeant course is starting real soon. This Friday, in fact. I'm really nervous about going through the course. Not because of the training, but because that they have a new veto factor to pass the course: a silver in IPPT. And I had just recently taken my IPPT, in which I failed again. Standing Broad Jump at 234cm (4pts), Shuttle Run at 9.66secs (5pts), Sit-Ups at 42 (5pts), Chin-Ups at 4 (1pt), and 2.4km Run at 10mins 13secs (5pts). 20pts failure. Because of chin-up, again. I think I'm gonna suffer through the course. Ishk.
I have made some new changes to the blog. Mainly the Blog Audio Mood. Created it myself after some quick reading up of help files. Ha ha. I still have that IT skills within me, and it's good to know that. When I have time, I'll improve on the overall blog.
So fast, half of 2006 is already gone. Another half to go. The next 6 months will be mainly on my Platoon Sergeant course, duties for my company, and looking forward to ATEC trainings. And also spending more time with my loved ones and loved one.
